Austin Scoops is independent, locally owned, & operated. You will normally find one of the owners scooping ice cream (if not making ice cream).

We opened our first & only store in July 2006 and proudly boast that we exceeded the Green Building Standards.

We offer fresh-made, on-site super premium ice cream, gelato (Italian ice cream), sorbet (dairy-free, fat-free) and soy based ice cream and waffle cones.

We use hormone free and antibiotic free cream & milk for our ice cream and gelato. And, we purchase from a Texas based dairy.

We make shakes, malts, floats, smoothies, sundaes, banana-splits, coffee, cappuccino and much, much, more.

At Austin Scoops we proudly stand behind our products and believe in quality. We only use fresh, high quality ingredients.

We buy local when we can; our mix-in nuts are local.

And, the majority of our gelato ingredients are imported from Italy.

As requested by our customers – we offer dairy free sorbet and soy based ice cream as well as sugar alternative frozen treats that are sweetened with Splenda.

We recycle where we can. We pull out the plastic cups, aluminum cans, milk jugs, plastic bottles, etc.

We break down our ice cream cases and machinery nightly and clean & sanitize and we defrost and sanitize our mix-in slab nightly.
